IFFR welcomes new Supervisory Board member
In the run-up to our 54th edition, we are excited to welcome a new member to our Supervisory Board. Joining the team is David Lauwen, who will assist in monitoring and advising the IFFR Board of Directors and organisation as a whole.

David Lauwen started his role on the Supervisory Board last month, complementing existing members Korrie Louwes (Chair), Anoesjka Imambaks, Hanneke Niens, Nanouk Leopold, Nicky Koopman and Pieter Guldemond.
“It is an honour to become a member of the Supervisory Board of IFFR, a festival that plays a crucial role in both the international film landscape as well as Rotterdam’s cultural diversity. The media landscape is changing rapidly and I look forward to contributing to the strategic growth, innovation, and strengthening of IFFR’s international position.” – David Lauwen
David Lauwen is a director and supervisor with extensive experience in both the cultural and creative sector and mainstream SMEs. He recently started as Chairman of the Executive Board of Codarts in Rotterdam. David has worked as an advisor for OCW, the Film Fund and Eye Filmmuseum, and is currently a supervisor at Omroep ZWART, de Melkweg and Brabant C.
