Parham Rahimzadeh
Parham RAHIMZADEH (1990, Iran) is a writer and filmmaker who grew up in Schiedam. After completing his pre-university education, he studied tax law before turning to literature. His debut novel Arab (2021, Prometheus) follows a young man from Schiedam navigating crime, love and the search for a better future, drawing on Rahimzadeh’s own experiences. His first short film Last Shot (2026), exploring censorship and grief, premieres at IFFR 2026.
