Okada Shiika

OKADA Shiika (1996, Japan) is a filmmaker and animator based in Tokyo. A graduate of the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts, she creates animated works exploring themes of love, gender and sexuality. Her short films have received multiple awards, including the Excellence Award at the 24th Student CG Contest, the Akiko Ooku Award at the Kyoto International Student Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Pia Film Festival. In 2023 she made her live-action feature debut with Kisspeptin Chronicles, developed through the PFF Scholarship Program and released in 2025.
