Morgan Knibbe
Morgan KNIBBE (1989, Netherlands) is a filmmaker and cinematographer. His film Those Who Feel the Fire Burning was the Dutch entry for the Oscars in 2015, was nominated for the top prize at IDFA, and won the Golden Calf for Best Documentary. He directed Shipwreck (2014), which won a Silver Leopard at Locarno and was selected at IFFR. Other IFFR selected projects are An Impossibly Small Object (2018), and The Atomic Soldiers (2018), the latter winning the Golden Calf for Best Short Documentary. His latest project, the feature film The Garden of Earthly Delights (2025), was presented at CineMart in 2020 and premiered at the Movies that Matter Festival in 2025, where it was nominated for the Dutch Focus and Grand Jury Fiction awards.
