Lúcia Nagib

Lúcia NAGIB (1956) obtained a PhD in Film Studies at the University of São Paulo. Currently she is Professor in Film at the University of Reading. Her research has focused, among other subjects, on world cinema, new waves and new cinemas, cinematic realism and intermediality. She is the author and editor/co-editor of various books and publications on cinema, such as World Cinema and the Ethics of Realism, Brazil on Screen: Cinema Novo, New Cinema, Utopia and World Cinema Series.
