Kari Fisher

Kari FISHER (Secwepemcúl’ecw and Syilx territories, Canada) is an artist working across interior design, floral design, permaculture and celluloid filmmaking. Her practice explores experiences of dispersion through the blending of interior and exterior worlds, focusing on healing in relation to nature and the built environment. Born on the traditional and unceded territories of the Secwepemcúl’ecw (Secwépemc) and Syilx (Okanagan) First Nations, Fisher continues her artistic and professional practices on the unceded territories of the K’ómoks First Nation. Alongside her creative work, she engages with natural medicine as an integral part of her research and methodology.
