David Tse

David TSE is a Chinese-Australian director and editor. His stylised and tonally rich work is informed by his appetite for cinema, music and the burgeoning creative scene of his adopted city, Melbourne. His debut short film Me & Mazzy Melancholy was the recipient of the City of Melbourne Annual Arts Grant in 2024. The film went on to be an official selection at Melbourne International Film Festival, Adelaide Film Festival and has been curated for screenings by Nowness Asia and ACMI. His short film The Stench of Eternal Bog will have its international premiere at IFFR 2026.
