Cris Tapia Marchiori
Cris Tapia MARCHIORI (Argentina) is a screenwriter and director who is passionate about raw, immersive storytelling. His first feature, La noche más fría (2017), was met with critical praise and made him a filmmaker to watch.
His latest film, Gatillero (2024), pushes creative boundaries with its
single continuous take. He also wrote and directed Las flores de Julia (2026),
an Argentine-Chilean co-production starring Mariana Genesio Peña and Paulina
García, currently in postproduction. Beyond directing, he has worked extensively across Latin America as an assistant
director, second unit director and action sequence choreographer, contributing to
projects in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Uruguay. His hands-on experience in
the industry, from stunt work to intricate action choreography, has shaped his distinct
