Christophe Gans
Christophe GANS (1960, France) is a filmmaker, producer and screenwriter known for his distinctive work in horror and fantasy cinema. A graduate of the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques (IDHEC), he began his career as co-founder of the influential French film magazine Starfix. Gans achieved international success with Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001), blending period drama with supernatural horror. He later directed the cult adaptation of the video game Silent Hill (2006) and the romantic fantasy Beauty and the Beast (2014). His upcoming film Return to Silent Hill (2026) revisits the haunting universe that made him a leading voice in genre filmmaking.
