Ari Benjamin Meyers
Ari BENJAMIN MEYERS (1972, USA) is a Berlin-based artist and composer. His works explore structures and processes that redefine the performative, social and ephemeral nature of music, the relationship between performer and audience, as well as the public and civic spheres of large-scale communal performances. His art has been shown internationally at institutions and festivals like Berliner Festspiele (2023), Festival d’Avignon (2023), Neues Museum Nürnmberg (2020), Liverpool Biennial (2018), Witte de With in Rotterdam (2018) and many others. His newest film, Marshall Allen, 99, Astronaut, was presented at the exhibition Nebula as a collateral event of the Venice Biennale (2024).
