Aileen Ye
Aileen YE (Ireland) is a filmmaker from Dublin whose work sits at the intersection of movement, sound and contemporary subcultures. Her practice focuses on the body as a site of resistance, exploring how physical expression navigates structures of power, control and refusal. Her films have screened internationally at both film festivals and art institutions, including BFI London Film Festival, Barbican, ICA, LUX and Art Rotterdam. She holds an MSc in Sociology from Erasmus University Rotterdam, specialising in decolonial aesthetics and autoethnographic cinema.
