Wink van Kempen

Wink (Willem Lodewijk) VAN KEMPEN (1948, Indonesia) is a Dutch photographer, visual artist, organiser and art coach. He is best known for his erotically tinted colourful whips and rods, but his work is more versatile. In the 1970s, he also made several videos. An NRC article from 2000 introduced him as a “performance artist, photographer, pagan, subjectivist, whip-maker and, recently, internet entrepreneur.”
