Welf Reinhart

Welf REINHART (1995, Germany) is a filmmaker born in Marktheidenfeld. He studied Visual Communication with a focus on film and television at the Kassel School of Art and Design before continuing his studies in feature film directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF). During his education, he was supported by the German National Academic Foundation. In 2020, he co-founded a production company with filmmaker Louis Merki. His short film Eigenheim (2022), co-produced with Bayerischer Rundfunk, screened at numerous international festivals and received the Silver Student Academy Award. His debut feature film A Fading Man (2026) is selected for IFFR 2026.
