Vanessa

Vanessa is an anonymous film collective founded with the idea of creating fictional films together with a close-knit group of multidisciplinary creatives. Rather than putting individual makers at the forefront, Vanessa allows the work to speak – through characters and their shared world. Vanessa operates at the intersection of narrative film, music video, graphic design and visual identity. Despite working with limited budgets, Vanessa has produced four films so far, of which the first three premiered during the self-organised event ‘A Night With Vanessa’. These evenings combine film screenings with performances by artists from various disciplines, creating an immersive experience that reflects the collective’s collaborative spirit.
