Tosca Schift
Tosca SCHIFT (Netherlands) is a visual artist working across video art, installation, performance and expanded cinema. Her practice explores the visceral body, spatial and temporal multiplicity and ancestral narratives, engaging with questions of identity, heritage and spirituality. Through processes of material and embodied inquiry, she examines the complexities of her colonial family history. Schift completed a bachelor’s degree in Product Design and a master’s film: Artistic Research in and Through Cinema. From 2019 to 2024 she was part of the artist duo ANT EYE, exhibiting internationally, and in 2022 she received the Talent Development Grant from the Creative Industries Fund NL.
