Tim Ellrich

Tim ELLRICH (1989, Germany) was born in Osnabrück. He first studied Philosophy and Theatre, Film, and Media Studies in Vienna before pursuing a degree in Film Directing at the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. Already with his short films, Ellrich earned international attention and won numerous international awards, including the Jury Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. His feature-length documentary My Vietnam won the German Newcomer First Steps Award in 2021. In my Parents’ house (2025) is his first fictional feature film.
