Théo Court

Théo COURT (1980, Spain) was born on the island of Ibiza. The son of Chilean parents, he moved to Chile in 1995. He studied photography at the School of Photography EFTI Madrid (Spain) between 1999-2000. Upon returning to Chile, he entered the ARCIS University to study filmmaking between 2000-2002. Between 2002-2004, he graduated from the International Film and Television School of San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, specialising in directing. He has taught at various centres and universities in Chile and abroad, such as the Escuela de Cine de Chile, Universidad del Desarrollo, and Universidad de Talca. He has also taught film masterclasses at Cornell University, NY. He taught weekly masterclasses on directing and film staging from September 2020 to May 2021, at the Moscow School of New Cinema, Russia. He participated in the HFPA Film Independent Residency Script Request 2020, awarded by The Hollywood Reporter.
