Rodrigo Gonçalves

Rodrigo GONÇALVES (1951, Chile) is a documentary filmmaker and photographer. While he was studying painting at the School of Fine Arts of the University of Chile, he learned about filmmaking at various institutions. To  his filmstart studies, he moved to Sweden in 1977. He travelled to Mozambique in 1986 where he stayed for eight years and worked intensively on his documentary filmmaking projects. Rebelión ahora (1983), IFFR 2024 Focus: Chile and Mozambique, Imágenes de un Retrato (1987) were awarded internationally.
