Pom Bunsermvicha
Independent film director and producer Pom BUNSERMVICHA graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Culture & Media Studies. It was during her semester abroad in Prague that she directed her first short film 10:10 (2015), while attending the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts. In 2018, she made her first work from Thailand, the thesis short E-po (A Second Chance). Her work, which mostly combines documentary elements with fiction, has been shown at several festivals in Southeast Asia. Lemongrass Girl (2021) was shot on the set of filmmaker and Electric Eel Films production house owner Anocha Suwichakornpong’s Come Here. Suwichakornpong was responsible for the screenplay of this fifth short by Bunsermvicha.
