Philip Ullman

Philip ULLMAN is a Swedish artist and filmmaker who graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. In their practice, Ullman captures movements and voices that are inherent to the human body and applies these to non-human characters. It is through these characters, in fictional 3D animated realities, Ullman questions the grounds on which value and sentience are prescribed, why one life is more valuable than another and what it means to be human.
