Michael Haneke

Michael HANEKE (1942, Munich, Germany) studied Philosophy and Psychology in Vienna. He has directed plays in Germany, Austria and Italy. Most of his features, including Benny’s Video (1992), Funny Games (1997) and Caché/Hidden (2005) have screened at IFFR. He has won two Golden Palms at the Cannes Film Festival for The White Ribbon (2009) and Amour (2012).
