Mejbaur Rahman Sumon
Mejbaur RAHMAN SUMON (1979, Bangladesh) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, painter and musician. He started his career making TV films and soon became a voice of Bangladesh New Wave films. Sumon’s debut feature film Hawa (2022), was Bangladesh’s entry for the Oscars and it was screened in several national and international festivals such as Kolkata International Film Festival. His second feature film titled Roid (2025), was nominated for the Co-Production Market at the Film Bazaar, India.
