Max Ploeg
Max PLOEG (1995, the Netherlands) is a documentary filmmaker, editor, and cinematographer. He graduated from the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht with the documentary Leve de vrouw van de SRV. In his work, Ploeg focuses on character-driven portraits, depicting idiosyncratic individuals with a combination of humour and empathy. Working primarily within Dutch public broadcasting contexts, his documentaries explore everyday lives and social environments through close observation and collaborative engagement with his subjects.
