Mabrouk El Mechri
Mabrouk EL MECHRI (1976, France) is a French actor, writer, and filmmaker. He began his career making short film/He made his first short film Mounir et Anita (1998), followed by Génération cutter (2000) and Concours de circonstance (2003). In 2005, he made his feature film debut with Virgil. He gained international recognition when J.C.V.D. (2008) was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, Rome Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival in 2008. He continued making films and directed multiple episodes for the TV series Maison close (2010-2013) and Nox (2018). Kung Fu Zohra (2021) is his fourth feature film.
