Liliana Correa
Liliana CORREA is a visual artist and filmmaker. She has worked as creator and Executive Director of independent artistic and cultural projects funded by both public and private institutions. Her professional experience spans still and moving-image production, as well as teaching in photography and the arts. Correa holds a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology and Anthropological Documentary from FLACSO, Ecuador (2015). Her thesis, Images from the Institution: Experiences of Photographic Representation among Toquilla Straw Artisans after Their Inclusion in UNESCO’s Representative List in 2012, focused on an in-depth exploration of the artisans of Pile, Manabí.
