Juriaan van Berkel

Juriaan VAN BERKEL (1987, The Netherlands) is one half of the Rotterdam-based artist duo Berkveldt. Together with Noëlle Ingeveldt, he creates audiovisual and immersive installations that challenge the human perception of reality through magical realism and the incorporation of non-human perspectives. Berkveldt debuted in 2020 with the documentary Under Six Meters of Sand (2020). In 2024 they will join Rotterdam with Ans en het Universum (2024).
