Julia Niemann

Julia NIEMANN (1987) studied philosophy and pursued a career in writing. She was a journalist for Der Standard among others, before entering the film world. She worked as an assistant director for director Daniel HOESL on the feature WiNWiN, which had its world premiere at IFFR 2016. The documentary Davos (2020) is a co-directed by Niemann and Daniel Hoesl. For Veni, Vidi, Vici (2024), selected for IFFR 2024, she joins forces with Hoesl once again.
