Joseph Specker Nys
Joseph SPECKER NYS (Brazil/Uruguay) is a filmmaker who has been creating poetic stop-motion animation worlds since 2012. His short film Almofada de Penas (2018) premiered at Annecy and went on to screen at more than 80 independent festivals, including Sitges, La Habana, Encontres, Interfilm and Málaga. The film received several awards, among them Best Independent Short, the Lanterna Magica Award for Best Animation Technique and an Honorable Mention at SESC Film Festival in Brazil.
