Inoue Hiroki

INOUE Hiroki (1951, Japan) studied under the late Teruo Ishii, director of the Abashiri Bangaichi series. He made his directorial debut in 2009 with the film Panic 4 Rooms, followed by Donguri Brother’Plum Pickles in 2010. Recent works include the 2020 theatrical release, Shinsotsu Pomodoro, Love Stage!! and The Old Woman Skin (2021), sponsored by Japan Expo. By the Shore was selected for IFFR 2023.
