Imran Perretta
Imran PERRETTA (1988, UK) started as an self-taught filmmaker and DJ, inspired by music videos on Channel U. In 2014, he earned his master’s degree from the Slade School of Fine Art. Perretta’s works – encompassing moving image, sound, performance and poetry – explore ideas of biopower, marginality and the (de)construction of cultural histories. He lives and works in London and was nominated for the 2019 Film London Jarman Award.
