Gregor Božič

Gregor BOŽIČ (1984) works as a director, scriptwriter and cinematographer. After graduating from film schools in Ljubljana and Berlin, he enrolled in the postgraduate programme at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. As a director of photography, he collaborates with filmmakers from across the region such as Matjaž Ivanišin, Igor Bezinović and Nebojša Slijepčević. Since 2008, he has been researching old and endemic fruit varieties. In collaboration with farmers from the Italo-Slovene borderland, he planted a gene-bank orchard and wrote a book listing each variety found and the stories connected with them.
