Emmanuel Mouret

Emmanuel MOURET (1970, France) directed his first film at the age of 19, before heading to Paris and working in the film and advertising industries. Self-taught with writing manuals, he threw himself into writing and entered the directing department of the prestigious academy La Fémis, from which he graduated in 1998. He often plays the lead character in his own films, such as in his first feature, Laissons Lucie faire! (2000). Trois Amies (2024) is his newest feature, which premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.
