Digna van der Put

Digna VAN DER PUT (Netherlands) is a director, animation supervisor and animator based in Rotterdam. Specialising in 2D frame-by-frame animation, her work focuses on movement as a tool for character expressiveness and emotional clarity. After her debut short Parade (2015), which was the Dutch submission for the Academy Awards, she worked extensively as an animation supervisor on shorts, features, and series with strong artistic identities. Drawn increasingly to directing, she co-directed This Is Your Captain Speaking (2026) with Nienke Deutz and is currently co-directing the feature Dikkie Dik maakt het goed. Alongside her directing work, she continues to supervise and contribute to major international animation productions.
