Clio Barnard
Clio BARNARD (1953, UK) lives and works in London. Her short films have been screened at festivals, on television, and in museums. Her first feature film The Arbor (2010) received several awards, including a British Independent Film Award. She is also one of the winners of the Paul Hamlyn Award for Artists. After The Selfish Giant (2013) and Dark River (2017), she directed Ali & Ava, selected for IFFR 2022.
