Claudio Sapiaín
Claudio SAPIAÍN (1948-2010, Chile) was a well regarded filmmaker. He worked as a professor of Arts at the University of Los Lagos and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Göttingen, Germany. Among his well known works are Escuela Santa Maria de Iquique (1970) which won an award at the International Film Festival Oberhausen, They Were coming From Chile (1989) and The Wait (2000).
