Charity Charly
Charity CHARLY is a Dutch-Surinamese Queer Filmmaker with a passion for telling untold stories from Suriname. Tra Fasi (2025), selected for IFFR 2026, is her directorial debut. Charly explores a narrative of filmmakers who cannot fully identify with Dutch society and seek alternative ways to express themselves, whether through clothing, music or film. She’s also a freelance production designer.
