While the modern world continues to turn around her, everything seems to stand still for the lonely Jasmine. She misses her boyfriend, struggles with her emotions, and feels isolated in her Rotterdam apartment. In this sensitive short film by filmmaker and photographer Ashley Röttjers – winner of the RTM Pitch 2025 – we follow a day in Jasmine’s life, where visions subtly seep into the cinematic reality. After a chance encounter with a woman at a tram stop, something seems to shift within Jasmine, in this understated film about isolation and human connection.
