Hi-Five

After an organ transplant, five ordinary people discover strange tattoos on their bodies and some newly acquired unique superpowers. Their lives might have been golden, but one more organ was donated and its recipient wants to rule them all. Hi-energy, hi-fun and hi-five.

On that day, they didn’t walk into a bar. Instead, a daughter of a taekwondo trainer, an aspiring writer, a yoghurt ‘Fresh Manager,’ a construction foreman and an unemployed hipster received an organ transplant from a mysterious donor and along with the transplant, they gained a mysterious tattoo. And superpowers. Their lives might have been golden, if not for one more organ receiver – a rich cult leader with a casual god complex, who wants to harvest all the organs for himself and become immortal. Always a catch, right? Well, the game is on, and the five are not gonna give the world up.

Kang Hyeong-cheol is no stranger to fun, and Hi-Five once again proves he knows the rules and how to play them. A dynamite cast including Yoo Ah-In, Ra Mi-ran, Lee Jae-in, Ahn Jae-hong and Kim Hee-won juggle witty dialogue in this high-octane action fare that winks at mou lei tau, and has an electrifying soundtrack that adds another level of bboom bboom.
