They thought rebuilding their all-female esport team would be the toughest thing to do. Now, the Gamer Girls face the gaming authority and must find a way to restore all Hong Kong players’ accounts just a few weeks before team selections.

Dollhouse, a successful all-girls esports team, has disbanded. They do their best to move on with their lives, pretending their gaming days are over. But passion for competitive gaming is not easy to shake off. Regrouped, reinforced and remotivated, they return as Gamer Girls. Summer, Raven, Kaki, Lilith and Miko transform a local cha chaan teng into a gaming venue and invite other teams to join. But just when things are rolling – and just a few weeks before the Hong Kong esports team selections – the gaming authority waltzes in, suspending everyone’s accounts. 

Gamer Girls, the energetic and vivid debut of Veronica Bassetto and Sophie Yang, invites you to fight for Dystopian Glory (a gameworld designed by Bassetto herself) and become a fearless hero outside its limits.
