Three generations of women belonging to the same family are at the centre of this Brazilian drama directed by Maria Clara Escobar and Marcelo Gomes. Dolores is a widow in her sixties who wants to open a casino, but has a past tainted by gambling addiction. Deborah, her daughter, hopes to resume her life when her boyfriend is released from prison. Duda, Dolores’ granddaughter, has a passion for guns and awaits an opportunity to move to the United States.
