Embarking on an evocative journey through the film and video collection of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, artist Rosa Barba introduces Drawing Probable Conclusions / VOICE ENGINE and Hear, There Where the Echoes Are. In this unique two-folded reflection, Barba creates a sensory promenade within Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, marrying memories with artistic expressions. The journey starts with the orchestral installation Drawing Probable Conclusions. As the culmination, VOICE ENGINE and Hear, There Where the Echoes Are transforms Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen into a cinematic space, engaging artists, musicians, singers and viewers alike.
Barba's diverse body of work, spanning films, installations, performances and publications, navigates the realms between experimental documentary and fictional narrative, with a focus on film's materiality, composition and human interventions.
Drawing Probable Conclusions / VOICE ENGINE and Hear, There Where the Echoes Are is curated in collaboration with Museum Boijmans van Beuningen.
