Angelo
Direct naar zijbalk
Alex Plumb tells the story of Angelo – a queer youth who works as a shoeshiner in the streets of La Paz, Bolivia. Composed of brief shots that offer us a fragmentary and powerful portrait of the city, narrated in first person and interspersed with magic visions of saints, the film depicts Angelo’s mythologising of his own story in order to survive the harshness of everyday reality.
