Stillness of Labor

An abandoned garment factory is reimagined into an Escher-esque maze. The reconstituted spaces of repetitive and mechanised labour are not a critique of the work itself, but rather of the economic vacuum left when those jobs were outsourced. A smart film that doesn't over-intellectualise, wordless yet political, these eight minutes are a must-watch on the big screen.
