A woman and a girl discuss the omnipresence of iron that connects our bodies to the earth and the cosmos. Suggesting that residues of the formation of the universe exist in our blood, the essay film sees iron as at once transhistorical and geopolitically specific, marked by its use in the Iron Age, mining and warfare.
