3rd Builders’ Street focuses on the concrete-panel houses which appeared throughout the Soviet Union from the 1960s. These Khrushchovka were dream homes for millions of people. Most are in a poor condition nowadays, but the past ‘future-oriented’ ideology is still tangible. The use of colour separation accentuates the dialectical image.
