Atefeh Yarmohammadi works out her personal history in a palimpsest of historical and contemporary film footage accompanied by a distinctive soundtrack. She was born in Tehran in 1984 during the Iran-Iraq war that drove her parents apart. Impressive, non-linear autobiography; painful, yet not sentimental.
