It’s commonplace for a European filmmaker to go to Africa to look at poverty and abuse. It’s less common for African filmmakers to record the difficulties of a foreign community living in wealthy Holland. This is a film made with bravado, shot guerrilla-style on location in Rotterdam and is a captivating mix of comedy and social drama.
