The Mountenays

Frank Cole’s second movie is a short black-and-white marvel of direct cinema. He visits the Mountenay family, who live in a stretch of abandoned forest in the Ottawa Valley. Another glimpse into a home life, and part of the long home movie that Cole was busy making whenever he turned on the camera.
