Blond Ambition

How can we define Japan? My national identity was formed amongst non-Japanese people who told me that I was Japanese. Laughter is what I identify as being Japanese. We laugh not because it is funny but as a physical outlet, a process of mentally accepting what has happened and what is happening now. (NM)
