The screening will feature a quartet of 35mm films that focus primarily on hand developed diary material shot over the course of one year… diary as a series of unscripted, intuitive reactions (observations) to scenes of everyday life. They were created as silent films in order to leave them open to interpretation. They will be presented with compositions that were made specially for this screening by Dutch sound artist Machinefabriek. What they have in common is the way their work relates to texture.
